ABOUT THE OWNER
Tiara serves as a Senior Program Manager dedicated to strategic planning, governance, and people management. She has had the opportunity to lead high visibility engagements for top companies in the education, healthcare, tech, finance, and fintech industries. Her super power is driving continual process improvement, sustainable innovation, execution excellence, and leading teams through change. She is recognized as a leader, teacher, and influencer.
As a project management professional, strategist, and people leader, she has a passion for enabling the full potential of others. This passion is what drives TEELEADS. Tiara utilizes this platform to inspire, educate and help people navigate their lives and careers in ever-changing, complex environments. Her main goal is to help individuals consider things through a different lens. She states, “We are programmed to see things through the lens of our own perception first. In today's world, this is no longer the best way to think when making important life and career-changing decisions”.
When asked what leaders serve as an inspiration, she is quick to reply, “my mother will always be a woman of inspiration to me”. As a schoolteacher, Tiara always admired the way she used her power and influence to shape the lives of her students and drive impactful change. Although she never desired to be a schoolteacher, Tiara knew that whatever she did in life, she wanted the ability to use collaboration, influence, and the art of teaching to make a difference and support change.
Each role throughout her career has afforded Tiara the opportunity to do just that. She also admires the late and well-respected Maya Angelou. Maya was influential through the power of words and provided an excellent example of transformational leadership. Tiara’s favorite quote from Mya serves as a guiding principle in her personal and business life. She wrote “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget even what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel”. From this Tiara learned to see the value in everyone. We can’t always control how someone is going to treat us, but we most certainly can strive to treat all with respect and kindness. Tiara tries to incorporate this in everyday interactions.
In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys participating in spiritual activities, traveling with her husband and daughter, blogging about life experiences, and mentoring under-served students. Tiara holds an MBA along with the professional designation PMP®. In additional she has achieved other internationally recognized certifications such as L6 Sigma Green Belt and ITIL 4®.
